TOUR GROUPS
Tour groups love Gold Creek Station. With good old country hospitality, your tour group will experience Australian farm life only 20 minutes from the CBD of Canberra.
Flexible and adaptable
We can tailor the farm tour to your schedule and needs. Most groups enjoy a two to three hour experience. The tour starts with Davo the dog mustering the sheep into the yards before we move into the shearing shed for a full sheep shearing demonstration. This is followed by a good hearty BBQ lunch.
Gold Creek Station is family owned and operated. The Starr family have been on the property for almost 50 years, and are sixth generation farmers in the Canberra and Central Western District.

Perfect combination of information and fun!
My husband and I visited Gold Creek whilst staying in the area and we're so glad we did.
It was a fantastic experience with the perfect combination of information and fun! Craig and his family work incredibly hard and the personal element to the visit helped to make it our favourite day.
We loved being able to ask questions, see the sheep handling and shearing close up and understand the process.
The amazing BBQ was delicious and the steaks were perfectly cooked!
Overall, we were very impressed and would not hesitate to recommend Gold Creek Station for a memorable day out. Many thanks to you all.

My wife and I visited this terrific sheep farm, on our Trafalgar Taste of Australia tour. Craig Starr, who runs the station, gave us an interesting demonstration of sheep herding with his dogs, followed by an entertaining sheep shearing show, culminating in a delicious BBQ lunch of steak, sausage and salad. Craig is a true gentleman and puts on a great show!

Fantastic people, great stories
A great classic. The sheep, the dogs, the shearing, the boomerangs. A really good meal is included. But above all, Craig is a born storyteller. Thanks for having us, a truly amazing experience.
